Great news via our friends at Wize Monkey: findings from a recent study illustrate compelling health benefits of drinking coffee leaf tea. Scientists at University of British Columbia, Faculty of Land and Food Systems have revealed the exciting results of their research.
They’ve found that coffee leaf tea (that is, coffee leaves processed and prepared similar to tea) may mitigate biochemical mediators that influence blood pressure and inflammation. Additionally, findings have revealed that coffee leaf tea contains phytochemicals unique to the coffee plant, which are both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
All that confirms what Ethiopian coffee farmers have long known - that coffee leaf tea is as good for you as it is tasty!
